Generalizing the quantum information model for dynamic diffraction

The development of novel neutron optics devices that rely on perfect crystals and nano-scale features are ushering a new generation science experiments, from fundamental physics to material characterization emerging quantum materials. However, the standard theory dynamical diffraction (DD) analyzes propagation through does not consider complex geometries, deformations, and/or imperfections which now becoming relevant systematic effect in high precision interferometric experiments. In this work, we expand upon information (QI) model DD is based propagating particle lattice unitary gates. We show output mathematically equivalent spherical wave solution Takagi-Taupin equations when appropriate limit, can be extended Bragg as well Laue-Bragg geometry where it consistent with experimental data. presented results demonstrate universality QI its potential for modeling scenarios beyond scope DD.
